Cambodia visa: info on how to get it

To travel to Cambodia, as well as to other non-Schengen countries, you will need a valid passport for expatriation as well as requesting a visa to enter Cambodia. Even for the little ones a visa is required to enter the country. The visa is an authorization that allows access to a non-European country and must be requested at the relevant offices. The validity of the Cambodia visa is 90 days and the period of stay it authorizes is 30. The period of validity begins, specifically, after the approval of the request by the Department of Immigration.

In order to enter Cambodia, you will specifically need:

  • passport in the name of the person to whom the visa was requested, which must have a residual validity of at least 6 months at the time of your arrival in the Asian country;
  • two printed copies of the validated Cambodia visa. In fact, upon your arrival, you will have to deliver a printed copy of the visa and when you leave you will have to do the same, delivering the second copy;

How do you apply for a Cambodia visa online?

The visa for the Asian country can also be requested online, with the advantage of being able to apply for it wherever you are, even from home, on holidays and weekends, even outside office hours. If you apply for it online, you need to fill out the visa application form to enter the Cambodian country and pay with one of the following cards: Visa, Mastercard, Nexi, American Express, Postepay or PayPal. The cost of the visa is 59.95 per person, a single rate even for the little ones.

After making the payment, you will need to upload your passport photo and send a copy of your passport, scanned.

Once the request has arrived, it must be checked and processed. In case of errors you will be contacted. Furthermore, there is the possibility to apply for a visa in an urgent way if you have the urgency to leave soon, but in this case there will be an additional cost of 17.50 euros.

Once in Cambodia, what to see? The Asian country is rich in history and culture, which starts in the capital Phnom Penh. Here you can admire many monuments as well as historical museums related to Cambodian culture.
