The beginnings of Emily Ratajkowski
Emily O’Hara Ratajkowski was born in London on June 12, 1991, in the Westminster district. Her parents (Kathleen Anne Balgley and John David Ratajkowski, both teachers) are American and therefore decide to return to the States. So Emily moved with her family to California, to Encinitas, near San Diego.
From an early age, Emily Ratajkowski shows a great predilection for the world of entertainment, especially for the theater, acting in some plays. Moreover, since she was a child she has no taboos with respect to the nude given the education of her parents, rather than broad views on the concept of nudism. This will lead Emily to feel comfortable with her body and not be afraid to show herself naked to the public.
Her career in the fashion world began in 2005 , when at the age of fourteen she met an agent from the entertainment world who put her in contact with the fashion agency Ford Models , with whom she signed a contract.
Over the years she has carried on her career as a model, posing for some fashion brands, and as an actress, participating in various castings and being chosen to often interpret the transgressive and rebellious girl, or with a comely beauty.
In 2009 he began attending UCLA, but after only one year he decided to abandon his studies to devote himself to his career, well underway.

The success of the model and actress begins when she is chosen to appear in some music videos , among which we mention that of the single Love Somebody by Maroon 5 and Blurred Lines, single by Robin Thicke, TI and Pharrel Williams.
From here on she was noticed by all the big fashion houses and her name began to circulate with some recurrence. This also gets her a part in the film Gone Girl , where she stars opposite Ben Affleck in David Fincher’s film.
In 2015 she made her debut on the catwalk with Marc Jacobs, during the fashion week in New York. From her she takes part in all the most important fashion events in the world, parading for numerous brands, which choose her to present their fashion collections. She also appears in the most important glossy magazines, among which we mention Vogue, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar and Grazia. In the meantime she also opens her own line of swimwear called Inamorata. But this without ever abandoning her career as an actress. In fact, she takes part in other rather important films, including ” Cruise”, “In Darkness”, “Welcome Home – A stranger in the house” and the latest “The art of scam” , released in 2019.
Parallel to her life as a model and actress, Emily Ratajkowski also becomes a fashion influencer, with millions of followers who follow her posts, especially on Instagram, where she appears very active and sensual.
Private life
Openly feminist, Emily defends the role of women in society and is openly in favor of greater heterogeneity in the sizes of the models to be shown on the catwalk. In 2018 she marries the American actor Sebastian Bear-McClard , who she has been dating for a few weeks and the announcement is made on Instagram.
On 11 March 2021 she always announces through her Instagram profile that she has become the mother of a child, called by the couple Sylvester Apollo.
