How to make crepes at home in 3 easy steps
We detail, step by step, how to make a proper crepe that will leave your guests speechless.

Ingredients
This is all you need to make the base of the crepe or crepe, which will be used to add almost anything later. Luckily, these ingredients are very common in the kitchen and can be found anywhere.

  • 2 eggs
  • 150 grams of flour
  • 250 ml of milk
  • 1 spoon of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Extra virgin olive oil to grease the pan
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon of brandy

3 steps to make crepes
Through these simple steps we will see that making crepes at home is within everyone’s reach and will take very little time.

1. Make the dough
First of all, we put all the ingredients in a container and beat them very well until there is a mixture without lumps, with a creamy texture . If it is too thick, we can add a splash of milk. Although we can already use the mixture, we can also let it rest in the fridge for an hour.

2. We toast the mixture
The second step consists of pouring a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil into the non-stick pan. If we have a crepe maker, it will not be necessary to grease. When the pan is very hot, we pour part of the dough (a large saucepan) and move it so that it is uniform. When we see that the edges begin to brown , we turn it over.
If we make the crepes at home, this first one is usually discarded , since they contain too much fat and do not turn out too well. For the following times it will not be necessary to add oil to the pan, since the crepe will be done in a jiffy.

3. We stack the crepes
To keep them warm while we prepare them, we do the following: put a saucepan with water over low heat. Place a plate with aluminum foil on top and stack the crepes on top. You won’t have too many problems because they don’t stick.
