One of the most anticipated announcements of the Comic-con was the confirmation of the fiction ‘What if…’ in the next phase 4 of Marvel. An animated series with actors from the MCU that explores how this Marvel universe could have developed in different situations.
The series will be broadcast next summer 2021 on the new Disney + platform . It will be based on the classic Marvel comic series that launched in the 1970s and explores how things might have turned out if the key moments in Marvel’s timeline had never happened.
Some of the stories that were explored were: What if Wolverine had killed the Hulk
What if Spider-Man had never become a crime fighter
and what if Jane Foster had found Thor’s Hammer
The cast of ‘What if…’
Marvel has already confirmed the cast of actors that will put voice to the different characters of this new series of Phase 4. This gives us some clue of the stories that will be addressed in the new fiction.
Below we have compiled a list of all the UCM actors who will voice the show.
1. Jeffrey Wright
Jeffrey Wright will play The Watcher, a celestial being assigned to watch over Earth and its surrounding solar system. He will be in charge of narrating the series .
2. Hayley Atwell
Hayley Atwell will play Peggy Carter in a story focused on what would happen if she became a super soldier. Steve Rogers will join the fight in a suit made by Howard Stark, according to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. Chris Evans is not confirmed at this time, so it will be announced later or Steve will be replaced, although hopefully not.
3. Sebastian Stan
Sebastian Stan will voice Bucky Barnes . It may be that he appears in the same story that introduces Peggy Carter, placing her in the pre-Winter Soldier/First Avenger era, but plot details have yet to be confirmed.
4. Toby Jones
Toby Jones will return to voice the character Arnim Zola.
5. Dominic Cooper
Dominic Cooper will return as the younger version of Howard Stark .
Stanley Tucci will be in charge of giving life to Abraham Erskine | Marvel
6. Stanley Tucci
Stanley Tucci will voice Abraham Erskine , the only scientist who perfected the Super Soldier Serum.
7. Neal McDonough
Neal McDonough will voice the Howling Commando Dum Dum Dugan.
8. Chris Hemsworth
Chris Hemsworth will voice Thor in a story that could be focused on Ragnarok , considering some of the other casting confirmations revealed.
9. Jeff Goldblum
Jeff Goldblum will voice the Grand Master, the ruler of Sakaar .
10. Taika Waititi
Thor: Ragnarok and Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi will also play a character , most likely Korg.
Tom Hiddleston will be Loki in ‘What if…

11. Tom Hiddleston
Tom Hiddleston will voice Loki.
12. Natalie Portman
Natalie Portman will return to play Jane Foster . We don’t know if she will appear in any way in any Ragnarok-era story, as she was absent in that movie.
13. Paul Rudd
Paul Rudd will be in charge of giving voice to Ant-Man.
14. David Dastmalchian
David Dastmalchian will voice Kurt, the hacker member of Scott Lang’s crew .
15.Michael Douglas
Michael Douglas will play Hank Pym, creator of the Ant-Man suit and technology .
16. Chadwick Boseman
Chadwick Boseman will play King T’Challa, aka Black Panther .
17. Michael B. Jordan
Michael B. Jordan will play T’Challa’s cousin N’Jadaka, aka Erik Killmonger.
18. Josh Brolin
Josh Brolin will voice Thanos, the Mad Titan . Thanos could be in an Avengers story or the separate Guardians of the Galaxy story, though he could be in both as well.
19. Karen Gillan
Karen Gillan will voice Nebula.
20.Michael RookerMichael
Rookerwill play the character of Yondu .
Djimon Hounsou will be Korath in ‘What if…

Djimon Hounsou will voice Korath.
22. Sean Gunn
Sean Gunn will be in charge of playing Kraglin.
23. Chis Sullivan
Chis Sullivan will voice Taserface.
24. Samuel L. Jackson
Samuel L. Jackson will play the character of Nick Fury .
25. Mark Ruffalo
Mark Ruffalo will voice Bruce Banner and/or The Hulk .
26. Jeremy Renner
Jeremy Renner will voice Clint Barton.
