TOP: Japanese brands

Issey Miyake and White Mountaineering, among the promoted. In fact they convinced the many present. Elegance, attention to detail and originality, but without unnecessary excesses, have positively impressed the insiders with bright colors, with blue predominating for the first; metropolitan youth style and mix of different styles with the black color above all for the latter.

TOP: Kenzo, Sandro, Dior Men

And the French? They certainly aren’t watching, as they play at home! Our favorite brands on this occasion are certainly Kenzo, Sandro and Dior. Original, colorful, sometimes a little extravagant, but always lively and inspired collections for the first; 90s street culture, classic combined with modern for the latter; modernity, luxury and fluidity are the characteristic features instead of the third;

FLOP: Rick Owens

Instead, between those who have disappointed expectations there and Rick Owens. In fact, the brand presented somewhat particular clothes and revisited the masculine style by making the women parade. A bit of chaos and presents left a little perplexed in front of the mannequin parade. In fact the dresses were a little too pompous in their presentation and certainly did not shine for fit.

Conclusions

Paris Fashion Week 2017 on the men’s side has shown once again this year how ideas are not enough to make fashion, but a certain style is needed, which certainly was not lacking in the various protagonists. There were those who positively impressed those present and those who disappointed expectations.

And you? Which stylists and fashion houses impressed you the most?
