‘The Eternals’ is based on the homonymous comics by Jack Kirby where the protagonists are beings endowed with extraordinary powers and enormous resistance that makes them almost immortal . The Eternals are celestial beings created by aliens and are, for the most part, good, although there is a branch of evil beings called Deviants.
